re: India: dastar

Dastar is the name for the turban worn by Sikhs.

Sikhs make up under 2% of the population in India as a whole,
mainly concentrated in the Punjab (northwestern India).
Sikhs keep their hair uncut as a tenet of their faith
and have a distinctive way of wrapping the turban.

I bet you're thinking that you would like to see how it is done
and/or remembering that scene from the English Patient movie.
